STAY SCARED!™ Halloween Costume Contest

November 1, 2025 ~ 7-8pm | Bronx Music Hall | FREE
In celebration of the legendary father of the modern zombie film, George A. Romero, we invite all creatures of the night to a horror-tinged STAY SCARED!™ Halloween Costume Contest! Join us and let your inner monster shine through!
Themes Encouraged but Not Required:
Costumes inspired by George A. Romero’s films — such as Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead, or any other undead delight — are encouraged. And since our contest falls on Día de los Muertos, attire culturally relevant to this time-honored tradition is also encouraged. But all creative costumes are welcome!
1st, 2nd, and 3rd secret non-cash prizes.
REGISTER TO PARTICIPATE IN CONTEST HERE (limited to 20 contestants).
So bring your best undead shamble, your goriest effects, and your most creative creep. Let’s honor George A. Romero the only way we know how — with BRAAAIIINNSSS and costumes!

NOTE: This is all in good fun. Keep it spooky, but keep it safe. By entering, you agree to let us take photos and possibly haunt the internet with your image. The judges’ decisions are final — no rising from the grave for a second try. Click on “Costume Contest Rules” tab for full details.
